For this luxury residence the architect’s design required large pieces of stone to be used in complex flowing configurations, from interior to exterior. To meet these challenging requirements, Yellow Mountain StoneWorks:

  • Developed a modular scheme for producing the large block sizes
  • Coordinated the finishes to achieve a uniform handcrafted look
  • Assembled the finished pieces on the factory floor before shipping

This enabled the team to handle the fit and coordination issues inherent in a project of this complexity and realize the artistry of the design.

The primary finish used was Coarse Adze. The other finish was represented by the antique patina of the reclaimed limestone.
