Form and function served with interlocking stone pattern
A ho-hum front yard has been transformed into a tranquil garden that reflects the homeowner’s fascination with Chinese culture. Our Rusty Manchu Caviar Limestone forms the foundation for an elegant exterior entryway and circular patio. In the adjacent garden, stepping stones are carved with Chinese characters to welcome guests.
We explored a variety of creative opportunities with the landscape designer, which lead to creation of a mortise-and-tenon interlocking mechanism to frame the walkway and hold it in place – a great solution that serves both form and function.
“My experience with Yellow Mountain StoneWorks enabled me to see them as co-creators of my stone projects.” ~ Daniel Lowery, Landscape Designer
